Congratulations to Hong Kong, China's fencing representatives, CHEUNG Ka Long and LEUNG Lok Man Laren, for winning the Men's Foil championship🏅️ and the Women's Sabre bronze medal🥉, respectively, at the Hong Kong Open Fencing Championships, held on December 21 at the AsiaWorld-Expo, bringing honour to Hong Kong, China.

The athletes delivered exceptional performances. CHEUNG Ka Long demonstrated world-class skill to claim the title on home soil, bringing his season to a perfect close. LEUNG Lok Man Laren displayed outstanding technique and tactics to secure the bronze medal in intense competition.

As student members of HKBU's Talented Athletes Admission Scheme and current students in the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Sport and Recreation Management programme, they are not only a testament to personal dedication but also a proud demonstration of the excellence of Hong Kong, China athletes on the competitive stage, embodying the highest standard of balancing academic and sporting pursuits.
