Transitioning from a sports athlete to someone working in the sports industry takes time, planning and effort. Through TADAS, student-athletes get to engage in services and explore different internship opportunities.

Sports Leadership Program (SLP)

Preparing the talented student-athletes to promote “Teamwork” and “Healthy Living”, which are two of the seven graduate attributes of HKBU under the whole‐person education development. Acting as sport ambassadors, the student-athletes will be trained to give talks, public speeches, and sport demonstrations on campus, in schools, and community.

The TADAS goes beyond just academic training but also focuses on developing the leadership and communication skills of our student-athletes. Under the SLP, student-athletes as sport ambassadors will have opportunities to apply their knowledge and talents to promote important messages around teamwork and healthy lifestyles both on campus and in the broader community.

This dual emphasis on academic performance and real-world engagement is a hallmark of HKBU's whole-person education approach. By equipping these future sport leaders with not just technical expertise, but also strong interpersonal and public speaking abilities, the university is helping to cultivate well-rounded graduates who can be effective ambassadors for the positive values of sports.

Overall, HKBU is providing robust support for the SLP to fulfill its important role in preparing student-athletes to become impactful leaders and advocates for teamwork and healthy living. This program is a shining example of the university's whole-person education in action.
